Press Releases May 6, 2008 Contact: Tonya Pyatt 312.563.0977, 773.895.0637 Chicago - ART RECEIVES A SNORT OF APPROVAL Chicago French Bulldog Rescue Hosts Fundraiser With The Architrouve, Show Features French Bulldogs, real and sculptural The Chicago French Bulldog Rescue, together with The Architrouve, will host a charity event designed to raise money to help rescue French Bulldogs in need, a breed known for its adorable puppy-like faces and pig-like snorting. The event features work by W.K. Marhoefer. The solo exhibition consists of mixed media sculptures featuring sexy girls, French Bulldogs and an assorted cast of characters. During the charity event, guests will have the opportunity to view Marhoefer’s pieces and interact with many French Bulldogs. Board members and volunteers of the Chicago French Bulldog Rescue will bring their dogs as well as some of the fosters (limited Frenchie slots available) for a play date hosted at The Architrouve. A donation of $10 per person is suggested. Come out to support these adorable animals and enjoy the garden space at The Architrouve. Refreshments will be offered.
