Chicago - Big Mama Scavenger Hunt
Find your Mom the perfect gift in a Mother's Day Scavenger Hunt hosted by 6 of Chicago's most innovative shops & galleries. The Architrouve, WolfBait & B-girls, Rotofugi, Quimby's, Finch Gallery and Lotus Keep Gallery are holding a No Gas event Saturday May 10, 2008 from Noon to 6pm, giving you the opportunity to walk, bike, skate or bounce your way through the neighborhoods in search of 6 items. 1 hidden item will be in each of the participating shops and each business will have clues within the space to help the scavengers find the item. After each scavenger finds an item they will have their card stamped (they pick up cards at the first business)...and then on to the next location!
Scavengers can start and end at any of the participating shops and galleries. Once they have a stamp from each business, they will leave their stamp card at the final business and who ever finds all six items will have the chance to win 1 of 6 fabulous prize packages, including original art, signed prints or gift certificates, to be raffled off at the end of the Hunt. You don't have to be present at the raffle to win...we will contact you by the information left on the back of your stamp card. No purchase necessary to play. Details, map, rules and game cards available at any of the participating shops.
