Quang Hong: Stumbling Still

November 9 - December 22, 2007

Chicago, IL - The Architrouve is proud to present the solo exhibition Stumbling - Still by Quang Hong. The exhibition is a new body of work consisting of oil paintings and abstract sculptures.

Quang Hong will release free standing and wall mounted sculptures made of forged steel and stainless metals incorporated with organic forms of colorful blown glass.

The artist will also exhibit oil paintings depicting narratives and portraits; the figures confront the viewer with large entranced eyes that radiate a hypnotic feeling with their gaze and raise wayward emotions and interpretations.
"Cinch thy belt, and leap into the winds that carry uncertain tones and paths. Let thy dreams of ambitions be humbled by work and repetition. Meditate from your learned and unlearned hands, and speak with voice and voices that you unwilling lost. Search, stumble and be still."
