Sip & Sign
at The Architrouve
With special guest Tony Fitzpatrick

Chicago, IL - The Architrouve is proud to present a Sip & Sign event. Come meet Chicago artist Tony Fitzpatrick and receive a signed catalogue of his exhibition 'The City Etchings' that is currently showing at The Architrouve and sample premium single malt scotches or sip on a martini. This is an opportunity to see 'The City Etchings' exhibition a suite of 30 black and white works featuring a tuxedoed, grinning Foundry Cat, a bellowing Fishman, a harrowing Crack Girl and a stoic Chicago Sailor - the fallen angels, bunko artists and heroes that inhabit Fitzpatrick's real and imagined city. A portion of the proceeds will go to Dustin's Place at Serenity Education And Day Treatment Center in Aurora Colorado; Respite for children and adults with disabilities.

Tony Fitzpatrick is an artist, actor and poet. His work can be found in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art in New York, The Art Institute of Chicago, the National Museum of American Art in Washington D.C., the Museum of Contemporary Art in North Miami and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. He is the author of six books including three collections of art and poetry: The Hard Angels (1988), Dirty Boulevard (1998) and Bum Town (2001); a collection of etchings entitled Tony Fitzpatrick: Max and Gaby's Alphabet (2001) and two collections of drawing-collages entitled, The Wonder: Portraits of a Remembered City, Volume 1 (2005) and The Wonder: Portraits of a Remembered City, Volume 2, The Dream City (2006). Tony Fitzpatrick was born in Chicago in 1958 where he lives today with his wife and two children.
